Save money on chicken and beef broth by making your own thrift friendly broth- as opposed to using it from a can.  Just add water to chicken or beef granules or chicken and beef bouillon cubes.  Use 1 cube or 1 1/2 tsp of granules for every cup of water.  Dissolve in boiling water.
