Basketball Bliss The Many Joys of Being a Grandmother by Nikki Willhite   There are many things grandmothers can do with their time. If you are lucky enough to have grandchildren living nearby, they are an endless source of activities. One of my 9 grandchildren is playing basketball right now. It is so much fun to watch him play. The wooden floors may be hard, and the room noisy, but it is bliss compared to the soccer games outside in November in the wet Seattle weather. Grandmothers can be an important part of a child's life. Your job as a mother is not over when the kids leave home. When the grandchildren come, there are many opportunities to continue to help raise these precious children.
