Carpet Repairs

Save money on potential carpet repairs by always keeping remnants of carpet that you've installed in your home.  It is a frugal, thrift friendly fix to patch in a piece of new carpet for a damaged section.

If you are dealing with a large section of carpet that needs to be replaced, cut out the damaged area, and glue down the patch, including the carpet backing.  With smaller areas you can just cut away the damaged carpet fibers, and glue down more fibers.  Use a pair of scissors to even the top of the carpet.
