Doors and Insulation

front door

You can lose a lot of heat if the doors to the outside of your home are not flush to the ground.  If you can't afford to insulate them, use cloth and fiber.  Anything will work that stops that cold air from coming in.  Some people knit or crochet long snakes and fill them with foam.  Then they just lay them flat against the bottom of the door.
