Save money on ebooks for Kindles and other electronic readers by downloading them for free from Internet sites.  Almost all of the classics are available online. You can also download books from the library, and you don't have to worry about late fees.  When the books are due to be returned, next time you turn on your Internet connection on your Kindle, the book will be taken off your computer.

Frugal footnotes:

Here are some frugal tips for your Kindle.

- If both you and your spouse have a Kindle, you can share purchased books in your Amazon library.
-You can download books free from the library.  When they are due to be returned, they will just be pulled off your Kindle.  No traffic, no late fees.
-Join mailing lists to find free or low cost ebooks from Amazon.  Or you can look at the selection of free books on the Amazon site.
- You have Internet access with your Kindle.  If you don't have a smart phone, you can use it when away from home for phone numbers, maps, etc.
- Students now have their text books on Kindles and other electronic readers so they
don't have so much to carry around campus.
Put your scriptures on your Kindle to
take to church and you will have less to carry.
