Facial Scrubs

facial scrub

Facial scrubs do nothing but remove dead skin cells from your skin.  There are many frugal and thrift conscious ways to do it without buying expensive skin care products.  You need to apply a product to your face with some grit.  Two food items that you can use are corn meal or oatmeal.

Use a gentle soap combined with water to build up a lather, and then add either a teaspoon of cornmeal or oatmeal to the lather.  Spread it on your face, and let it dry.  When you wash it off with warm water, it will take the dead skin cells from your face with it.

You can also mix equal amounts of honey and oatmeal in your blender until they form a paste.  Apply to your face, let sit, and wash off.
