Everyone should use their computer to help with bills and the family finances.  Here are some of the things you can do online or with your computer. - Pay your bills - Record and track expenditures - Balance your checkbook - Print budgets - Research and invest money Organization - Keep an address book online makes finding phone numbers, security codes and passwords easy.  Word Processing Programs - Here are some of the ways to use your word processing software: - Letters - Journals - Recipe and other hobby collections - Greeting cards - Mailing labels - Calendars - Newsletters and ebooks - Term papers - Notes and reference material   Other Software   - Storing photos and photo manipulation - Music organization - Games and educational software Email - Most of us could not live without our email, again saving us time and money.  Now we have social networking sites to share our lives with distant friends and family. The Internet -  What can you say about the Internet?  It is such a vast resource for almost everything.  Any time you have a question, all you have to do is Google it.   Here are some of the many uses of the Internet:   - Money; banking, money markets, investments - Managing household utilities, phone, and other accounts - Managing charge accounts - College courses - Medical records, ordering prescriptions and health research - Hobbies and clubs, finding patterns and recipes - Shopping and auctions - Sharing pictures - Emailing digital pictures out to have prints made - Graphics - Downloading mp3 music and audio books - Genealogy - Newspaper and newsletter subscriptions, newsgroups and ezines - Weather updates - Maps and directions - Blogs and websites - Work and other online sources of making money There are many things that can be added to this list.  Our computers have many uses.  Do not let this resource go unused.
