Tips
Clean and De-clutter -
Let buyer's see your home looking spacious and
clean. People are busy, and imaginations are weak. Don't let a buyer
think if they buy your home they are going to have to clean up after you.
Do the work.
De-Personalize -
Remove excessive family pictures, and all taste specific items from display so
the buyer's can imagine their things in your home.
Fix It Up - Do not show your home if you have unfinished
projects. First impressions are important, and most home showings occur
when a house if first listed. Be ready.
Leave -
Always leave your home when someone is looking at it.
Remove Pets -
Remove your pets while your home is one the market. Some people won't
even go inside a home with a dog. Either they don't like the smell, or
they are afraid of them.
