Tips
Banking
Bouncing Checks - Be sure and check with your bank about over-draft
protection for bouncing checks. Bouncing a check happens to everyone-
eventually, and it is expensive. My bank gives it to you for free- but you have
to ask for it.
Saving Money
Start Small - Did you make any New Year's
resolutions this year about your money? Have you forgotten them already? Do not
forget or discount the power of habits. If you want to do something, but feel
overwhelmed, just do a little of it and establish a habit. If you want to save
money, but have very little to save, start small. Then when you have more money,
it will be much easier for you to put more away.
Saving Money - Here's a trick that many
people use to save money. When you go shopping, never spend your change. Bring
it home, and put it aside, either in a jar or piggy bank. You will be surprised
how fast you will accumulate an sizeable amount of money. This tip has been
around a long time. I find it ironic that now one major bank is basically doing
the same thing when you use your debit card.
