Save money on juice, and make it more thrift friendly, by using all the juice that you buy, not
only in juice containers, but in the cans that store food items like fruit.
Juice can be used to make popsicles, or it can be used to flavor jello and
sauces. You can also add more sugar to juice and make syrup. Most
flavors of juice can be combined.
Here are a couple
frugal juice recipes
that use cranberry juice.
Cranberry Pink Punch
4 cups cranberry juice
2 cups sugar
2 cups water
1 cup frozen orange juice concentrate
1 small carton pineapple sherbet
1 large bottle 7-up
Put the cranberry juice in a pot with the sugar and water.
Boil until the sugar dissolves. Remove from the heat and add the orange juice.
Freeze. When ready to serve, thaw and put in a punch
bowl. Add the sherbet and the 7-up.
Cranberry Orange Punch
1 can jellied cranberry sauce
3/4 cup orange juice
1 12-ounce bottle of chilled ginger ale
Beat the cranberry sauce until smooth.
Stir in the orange and lemon juice. Pour this mixture over ice cubes in a
2 quart punch bowl or pitcher. Gently mix in the ginger ale.
