Save money on the linens in your home by recycling, repurposing and reusing all the fabric from the linens you have in your home.  Sheets can be cut down to pillow cases, towels can be made into dish rags and wash cloths.  You can also find thrift friendly linens at garage sales and thrift stores.

Rotate your linens so that they all received the same amount of wear and wash time to prolong their use.

Here are some additional frugal tips to save money on linens.

- Don't be afraid to buy used linens. You can wash and sterilize them, and it isn't any different than sleeping with used linens at a hotel.

- Repurpose bedspreads also.  Use them to make pillows or cut them into pieces for quilts.

- Most linens can be made into some kind of tablewear, from runners to placemats or napkins.

- Old fabric can be torn into strips and crocheted into rugs.
