Pasta

pasta

Save money on pasta by always keeping it separate from sauces.  After you cook pasta, you should always run cold water over it to stop the cooking process.

If you put it in a separate bowl from the sauce, then you can refrigerate or freeze the leftovers for other dishes.  If you mix, for example, your pasta with your meat sauce for spaghetti, then you can not reuse it for other dishes.
