Plastic: Recycling

recycle symbol

Save money and be thrift conscious by recycling as many pieces of plastic that come into your home as possible.  Plastic is part of the packaging of most of the items that you purchase.  It comes as thin as plastic wrap and also heavy enough for storage.

Thin plastic wrap can be reused, as long as it hasn't been contaminated.  Thicker pieces can be washed and used to roll out cookie dough.  Even thicker plastic can be used to line trash cans or for disposal purposes.
