radishes

Save money on radishes by making them last as long as possible. It is a little work, but thrift friendly to remove the leaves when you bring them home from the store.  Put them in a plastic bag, and keep them in the crisper in your refrigerator.

Here are some more frugal tips to save money on radishes.

- Grow your own radishes.  If you have room for a planter and sunlight, radishes are one of the easiest vegetables to grow. The seeds are up in 2 weeks and they are ready to eat in 6 weeks.  You can begin planting them in the spring and continue into the fall for a continuous supply.
