Funeral Potatoes

by Nikki Willhite

This dish is often called potluck potatoes or funeral potatoes because it is good for a crowd, well-received, easy to make, and is a good comfort food. It is a good one to keep the ingredients on hand in case you need to quickly make a meal for someone who needs help.

1 large bag frozen hash brown potatoes
2 cups sour cream
2 cans of cream of chicken or celery soup
1/2 cup green onion tops, chopped
3 1/3  cups grated cheddar cheese
crushed potato chips

Mix all the ingredients and put them in a 9x13-inch baking pan.  Top with crushed potato chips.

Cook at 350 degrees for approximately 1/2 hour.
