Potluck Potatoes


6 potatoes, diced,  or 6 cups frozen hash browns (thawed)
1 can cream of celery soup
1/2 soup can milk
1 cup sour cream
1 cup sharp cheddar cheese, grated
1/4 cup onion, grated
salt and pepper to taste
3 tablespoons margarine, melted
3/4 cup crushed corn flakes


Cook fresh potatoes and dice, or thaw frozen hash brown potatoes.  Place in a 2x13 casserole dish.

Mix together the soup, milk, sour cream, cheese, onion and spices. Pour over the potatoes.

Mix the margarine with the crushed corn flakes to spread on top of the casserole.

Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes, or until hot.

Sprinkle crumbs over casserole. Bake uncovered at 350 F for 30-45 minutes or until hot and bubbly throughout.
