Storage: Magazines

magazines

Save money storing magazines by recycling cereal boxes as frugal storage containers.  Take the top off the cereal box, and cut away about a third of the box down one of the narrow sides.  Use either a straight or diagonal cut. This will allow you to see which magazines are in the box.

Use contact paper to decorate the boxes.

Frugal footnotes:

Here are some additional frugal tips to save money storing magazines.

- If you want a more professional look, IKEA sells some reasonably priced magazine storage.

- Don't store magazines without a purpose or they become clutter.

- Don't store a magazine because of one or two pictures or projects in the magazine.  Take those papers out, and put them in a well organized and labeled file folder or scrapbook.

- Give your used magazines to family and friends, or bring them to those confined to their beds or in the hospital.
