Towels

towels

Save money on towels with careful color selection and being mindful of the quality.  Avoid very light or very dark colors. White towels become dirty quickly. Inexpensive towels in dark colors may bleed in the wash or lose their color and become spotty when bleached.

It is thrift friendly to buy quality towels that last for years, as opposed to cheap towels that are too unsightly to use after a year.

Here are some additional frugal tips to save money on towels.

- Buy quality towels at a discounted price at a store like Costco.

- Bleach wears down fibers.  Use it sparingly.

- Always air dry your towels before putting them in the hamper to avoid mold.
