If you can't afford to replace your single pane windows with
dual pane or insulated windows, save money on heat in the winter by covering
them with plastic. You can find thrift friendly plastic at the hardware
store designed to seal your windows and stop air drafts.
Make sure your windows are
caulked around the edges on the outside.
If you have small paned
windows on the inside of your house, make sure there are no gaps between each window and the wood. Reset and glaze.
Tape up bubble wrap to
insulate your windows during the cold months.
